Women's Programs

WOMEN’S OUTPATIENT

Women’s Outpatient Services provides a gender specific program designed to maximize therapeutic benefits for a healthy lifestyle while allowing women to continue normal employment, family and social interactions. Women’s Outpatient Services strive to assist the woman in attaining “balance and moderation” in her life through individual, group, and family counseling sessions.

WOMEN’S INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT

Women’s Intensive Outpatient Services provides a gender specific program designed to provide structure and support for women who are in need of inten­sive treatment and can remain in their own living environment while receiving these services on an outpatient basis. The women participating in this level of care will receive individual, group, and family counseling. This design offers the individual the opportunity to receive such services while working, going to school, or while caring for a family.

WOMEN’S RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Women’s Residential provides a gender specific program.  The program is a multi-modal system of intensive treatment with an expected length of stay determined by individual assessment. Clients participate in individual and group therapy, with specific treatment focuses based upon the client’s assessed needs. Specific approaches utilized include, but are not limited to individual counseling, group therapy, assertiveness and relaxation training, cognitive and behavioral change therapies, didactic groups, family therapy, and recreational therapy. Self-help groups are utilized in conjunction with these ser­vices.

WOMEN’S HALFWAY HOUSE SERVICES

Women’s Halfway House Services are designed to provide a supportive, thera­peutic living environment for women who are in need of continuing therapeu­tic structure in their recovery. Women in this level of care begin to practice respon­sible living through fulltime employment and/or continuing education, while con­tinuing to receive group and individual treatment services.

RECOVERY HOME FOR WOMEN WITH CHILDREN

The Recovery Home for Women with Children is designed to provide a supportive, therapeutic environment for families who need the oppor­tunity to practice skills of daily living, including parenting and employment while receiving needed counseling services. This unique service integrates the children in the daily process of healthy living. The family lives on site while receiving individual, group and family counsel­ing. The focus is to assist the adult to function as a healthy parent, increase their feelings of self worth and improve their ability to live independently through employment or furthering their education. The children are able to experience consistency, healthy boundaries and role modeling from their parent while partici­pating in a normal daily routine of school, daycare and family time.

WOMEN'S RECOVERY HOME

The Women's Recovery is a separate program designed for women with or without children that are in need of additional support and structured living while coping with substance related issues. The philosophy is to stabilize sobriety while learning the skills needed to parent, establish employment, learn responsibility in finances, cope with life stress and reinforce skills needed for eventual independence. The ultimate goal of this program is family abstinence and healthy living. The Recovery Home also has access to treatment levels I and II.
